An opportunity has arisen for a Medical Secretary to join our existing secretarial team based at our South Milford Surgery. A valid driving license is essential, as you may be required to work at Bramham Medical Centre for holiday/sickness cover purposes. Experience and training working within a medical secretarial role and using the SystmOne clinical computer system would be advantageous, but full training for both could be given if needed. The successful applicant would be required to work 21hrs per week over 3 days, working within a team of 3 secretaries, providing an efficient and effective service in a professional manner, working in accordance of written protocols. Observing strict confidentiality on ALL matters relating to the practice and its patients. Liaising effectively with all relevant organisations ie Hospitals, patients, Social Services, Health Authorities and other outside agencies. To ensure all audio/copy typing of letters, referrals and reports to be dealt with promptly and efficiently. Observe all requirements relating to CQC obligations and health and safety at work.

Patient Services Administrator Vacancy 20hrs p/w (part-time, permanent) - April 2021
We are currently recruiting for a friendly, reliable and flexible individual to join our Patient Services Team.
The role involves working within a team and independently, assisting the Practice team to project a positive and friendly image to patients and visitors, both in person and via the telephone. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work under pressure as the role can be demanding. Experience of working within a healthcare environment would be advantageous but not essential as training can be given. Excellent customer service and organisational skills are required as is the need to be IT literate. Undertaking a variety of administrative duties to include:-
- appointment making either by phone or in person;
- processing, scanning and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail;
- filing and retrieving paperwork;
- dealing with clinical samples, blood forms, sick notes, prescriptions.
The ideal candidate will be required to work across all our branch sites from time to time, so own transport is essential. To work in accordance to written protocols. To observe strict confidentiality on all matters relating to the practice, staff and patients. To observe all requirements relating to CQC obligations and health and safety at work.
