We are currently recruiting for a part-time Dispenser  -  August 2020

We are looking for a reliable and flexible individual to join our Dispensary Team.

We are looking for someone who has at least 1 year's experience working as a pharmacy dispenser.  The ideal candidate must hold a NVQ2 qualification in dispensing.  Someone who has experience using the SystmOne clinical computer system would be advantageous (but not essential) as training can be given. Be able to provide an efficient and accurate dispensing service to patients and provide a responsive and friendly service for patients and visitors when working at all branches. To work in accordance of written protocols. To observe strict confidentiality on all matters relating to the practice and its patients.  To observe all requirements relating to CQC  obligations and health and safety at work.  

The role will be based at our Micklefield Surgery, working 27 hours per week, working pattern Monday 2-6pm, Tuesday 8-6pm, Wednesday 8-1pm and Friday 8-6pm.

We are currently recruiting for a part-time permanent Patient Services Administrator 

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and flexible individual to join our Patient Services Team.

The role involves working within a team and independently, assisting the Practice team to project a positive and friendly image to patients and visitors, both in person and via the telephone.  The ideal candidate should have the ability to work under pressure as the role can be demanding.  Experience of working within a healthcare environment would be advantageous but not essential as training will be given.  Excellent customer service and organisational skills are required as is the need to be IT literate.  Undertaking a variety of administrative duties to include:-

  • appointment making either by phone or in person
  • processing and distribution of incoming and outgoing mail
  • filing and retrieving paperwork
  • dealing with clinical samples, blood forms, fit for work notes, prescriptions

The ideal candidate will be based at South Milford Surgery working 27 hours per week over 5 days. Working pattern; Mon 8-6pm, Tues 8-1pm, Weds 2-6pm, Thurs 8-1pm and Fri 2-6pm.  The successful candidate will be required to work across ALL our branch sites from time to time, so own transport is essential. 

To work in accordance to written protocols, to observe strict confidentiality on all matters relating to the practice, staff and patients.  To observe all requirements relating to CQC obligations and Health and Safety at Work.

COVID-19 considerations: At present the role demands the wearing of face masks and social distancing whilst working within the surgery environment.
