BriefcaseHome Visits

Home visits are for serious illnesses and for people who are housebound because of illness or disability. If you are able    to get to the surgery, please try and do so, but if a home    visit is necessary, please phone the surgery between       8.00 & 10.00am on 01977 682 202 as this helps the doctors plan their rounds. Please give the receptionist a brief description of the problem, the doctor will then have some idea of the urgency of the call.

A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.

Please bear in mind, that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Surgery.
